“Hey, you okay?” He asks, walking into the kitchen.

“Yea, I’m fine.” She says while making tea.

He walks closer, “Then why won’t you look at me?”

She looks up at him then.

“Do you regret last night?” He’s searching her face for an answer.

She breaks the silence with, “No. Last night was amazing.”

He releases the breath he was holding, while waiting for her to continue.

“I want to be with you, I’m just afraid to be with you.” She finally admits.

He bridges the gap between them, and says, “I won’t break your heart.”

She looks back at him, and asks, “What if I break yours?”
