As another promo for

Beat, Blues and The Rhythm of Fools goes online. The question arises – what’s it all about?

Jason Disley is a poet who with the inspiration of the Beat Generation writers of 1950's America writes spontaneous verse. Allowing for the natural and almost organic evolvement of the words he writes. It is this that makes his poetry sometimes more powerful or relevant. The stream of consciousness approach makes for diverse topics and personal viewpoints.

The whole relationship between his writing and the reader is personal. Some of his observations strike a chord. The rhythmic approach and elements of musicality are always there. His frustration in this political climate (Brexit) is also evident. With heart firmly on his sleeve he delivers poetry that is both poignant and very relevant.

His future hopes are to see other genres covered, including the publication of a novella, and the opportunity to record and perform some of his poetry live.

His books and future works are available from Amazon.
