“Granted, you might try all of the above suggestions and still fall flat, but it’s still worth a try at the end of the day.”

Depends on what one considers to be ‘worth a try’. If making money is a goal, I think creating a new programming language is empirically not ‘worth a try’, unless it’s within a major corporation. I think companies like Microsoft and Oracle have profited from providing programming language ecosystems, but not so much individuals. I can’t think of a single individual who made millions by creating a new programming language.
