Who was Cody Rhodes?

Cody Rhodes (real name Cody Garrett Runnels) is an American professional wrestler, actor, and businessman. He was born on June 30, 1985, in Marietta, Georgia, and comes from a wrestling family; his father was the legendary wrestler Dusty Rhodes, and his older half-brother is also a wrestler, known as Dustin Rhodes (also known as Goldust).

Cody Rhodes began his professional wrestling career in WWE in 2006, where he worked under various ring names and won several championships, including the Intercontinental Championship and the Tag Team Championship. He left WWE in 2016 and began working on the independent wrestling circuit before helping to found All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2019, where he currently serves as an executive vice president and one of the promotion’s top stars.

Outside of wrestling, Rhodes has also appeared in films and television shows, including “Arrow” on The CW network. He is also involved in various business ventures, including a men’s grooming line called “Silver Rogue” and a wine company called “Aew Wines.”

Why did Cody Rhodes go back to WWE?

Cody Rhodes actually hasn’t gone back to WWE since his departure from the company in 2016. After leaving WWE, he made a name for himself on the independent wrestling scene and eventually became one of the founders of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2019. As an executive vice president of AEW, Rhodes has played a major role in the company’s success and has been a prominent figure in the wrestling industry in recent years.
