We are the ones who saw it all.
We are the ones who saw it all.

It’s hard to be out there

It’s hard to express

You are the generation who saw it all

from shutter televisions to high HDMIs’

from floppy drives to pen drives

from playing Mario to PUBG

Yes, you are the one who saw it all

the family gatherings of the 50s changed to just 5

Oh, kid, you are struggling so much with your old “always planned” to

this generations’ random decision making thoughts

Though you question your existence if you are living it right,

or if you learn something new,

yet, somehow you manage to smile

Remembering your childhood

playing Galli cricket,

oh! those not so cool but funny “Posam pa”, and “Gilli danda” games,

those fun gatherings on birthdays

where people gave you biscuits as a birthday gift, mother made halwa as a cake

and we celebrated with friends and family.

You still feel shy doing things, you still can’t open up about adultery, sex, and stuff.

And it’s not your fault, you come from an organized generation to the scattered one,

The generation where sex is too common to do with different people,

You feel too old to understand that and make others understand too

Oh boy! you are struggling too much with work,

every day you make the choice of doing things and fails the very next second,

after all, you learn to stick with things from your old 90s habits,

But here you are in the 21st century,

still thinking and rethinking your decisions of change,

But in the end you will be alright, You always does.

Coz you are the one who saw it all.
