My Rain Adventure to Office

While walking along the road in the rain, the child inside me came out. The half an hour walk to office became an adventure today. The rain was talking to my umbrella. I could see small ponds on the road. I jumped over them splashing water.

The grass grown on the edges of pavement path was adding green beauty to this adventure. I swirled the umbrella as I danced listening and humming songs played through my ear phones.
I was not worried about my dress anymore. The cars were passing from the ponds splashing water from their tires. My umbrella bowed at that side. The cool feeling of water under my feets could not have been felt with shoes. I was lucky to wear sandals today.
The smile on my face was visible. People stared at me for looking and smiling at the sky. The clouds were humble enough to rain slowly while the wind blowing redirected rain drops towards me. I shivered with this naughtiness of nature.
I didn’t realize when I reached the office playing with the rain.
