The week that was…
I was waiting for a mail from WITx saying that I am selected since I was little bit sad for not being selected for WIT Cohort 1 program. But because of that only I was very eager to be a part of WITx program.
Then on October 15th the first mail came saying you have qualified stage 1 and about the activities to be done to qualify stage 2. On seeing that we had to make a intro video and a website , I was a bit tensed.
I finally made an intro video and a website. The deadline was Oct 21st when I was at VIT ,Vellore for a hackathon. I was a little busy with the hackathon so I tried uploading it on 21st night after the hackathon. But the net was slow . I was worried again, if I wasn’t able to upload it on time , will I be disqualified. Then aah… just 10 min before the deadline my video got uploaded on Youtube .
Finally on Oct 25th 11:55 pm the mail I was waiting for came. Even though I was half slept, that message woke me up .I was very excited and thrilled .The feeling that I finally got something I wished for…
Then we were given a set of activities as part of the program
1.#discover — to discover and tweet 3 opportunities.
2.#connect — To make an interview summary blog based on the interview of any one of the WIT Cohort 1 participant.
So yes , the video part was a challenging task for me and uploading it on Youtube was more challenging. But now I feel happy that I have a website and a Youtube video of my own which would have been difficult otherwise.
