All are aware that we need to have a balanced diet and it should include clean and healthy eating. But we would be puzzled with the food choice that we need to follow or include and one of the best choices to include in healthy eating would be to include orange fruits and vegetables in their diet.

We all would have come across eat your greens, but we need to know that we should eat our oranges as well ;)

To name a few in vegetables are carrot, pumpkin, sweet potato and in fruits orange, papaya, etc which has an abundance of nutrients associated with it, and consuming these orange-colored foods could be beneficial to your overall health.

Improves Skin Health:

The best-known nutrient in all orange foods is Vitamin-C which is an antioxidant that helps boost the immune system, helps to rebuild collagen in the skin, and helps to change the skin’s overall appearance.

Improves Eye Health:

Carrots and pumpkins are rich in lutein which helps to prevent cataracts. For anyone who wonders what is cataracts, it’s a condition that covers the eye’s lens causing eye–vision problems. So, having two-three servings of orange fruits and vegetables in your daily life could help to improve your eye’s vision.

For anyone who already faces eye vision problems, this is the right time that you should start to care for yourself by including these kinds of foods in your diet.

Fights against cancer:

Cancer-fighting strongest nutrient Vitamin A is found in carrots and sweet potatoes which contains retinol or retinoic acid that helps in fighting against the cancer cells in our body and improves our immune system.

Boosts beta-carotene:

Beta-carotene is the same as Vitamin-A which is most commonly found in orange foods and it’s the main factor for its color. Experts say beta carotene is not only good for eye health but also helps to prevent aging and protect skin from sun damage.

It might be a boring factor for us in this generation to follow this kind of a routine or to include it in our diet as we people got used to the junk food which is unhealthy and leads to several health issues.

But always ‘ Old is gold ’, even though people would not be interested to eat these foods, you might give it a try in a different way by trying different recipes of these orange foods healthily!
