Each device has its own nuance for getting into pairing mode and each phone requires swiping or menu navigating to set up a connection.
Bluetooth Pairing is a Showstopper
Leor Grebler, UCIC

This happens at almost every party where there’s a bluetooth speaker. The music stops because the connection breaks or there’s a switch between phones. Eventually people stop using it and just use their phone or laptop. I think its safe to assume this happens so often that most bluetooth devices currently have low usage rates as time goes on. Until someone creates a simpler ux for this the best course is not to use bluetooth for your product if you’re focused on keeping users for longer.
