What the next few years look like for VR

VR reminds me of the early days of the web. In the early nineties it was hard to get an Internet connection, but there was a small passionate group of hackers, creatives and entrepreneurs that bet they’re lives on the web medium. Everything changed as a result of this gritty group of people. Hardware got smaller (laptops), wireless Ethernet become ubiquitous and the app layer got rich enough for creative hackers to make the Internet bloom. It takes a couple hundred thousand rebels to push thier dreams and an industry into reality. I am betting that the human desire to be immersed in games and stories will become a seamless reality for billions of people and engineers will reduce the complexity of this to be invisible and delightful!
