Day 237

Had a weird dream with a neo-Nazis and a car crush — it was so bad I called out for Christina. The morning was pretty fun: sex, pool-time, hot tub — in that order. We eventually had to end the fun and get ready to check out. After vigorous diligence, I was assured that we left nothing behind and we dipped.

Swung the car around to her and we hit up the Gilchrist for some “famous” breakfast food; we both agreed it was just eh. We hit the road for another hour — Christina napped — and ended up at a really dope aquarium in Camden. Everything was going pretty swell until one comment triggered a chain reaction; we ended up pushing past it and enjoying the time. Finally it was time to head back; more music and more talking.

Eventually I brought up the subject which triggered the chain reaction and it was dismissed. A moderate amount of time later, we were in Queens; I parked and helped her take some stuff upstairs. I didn’t stay long but said hi to her parents. She walked me down with Baobao and something unexpected reared its head; maybe I could’ve expected as much — she has given me fair warnings in the past.

She flashed her jealous ways about someone who is not a factor in my life in that way. It was tense and weird and she just told me to leave. I had to go home so I just drove. Usually something like this would bother me but she made a fair point: I’ve done nothing and I have nothing to be sorry for. This is something she’s going to have to work through and if not… we’ll see when the time comes.

I drove home, dropped off the gifts to Ashish and Diane, and then officially stepped in the house. Now I have less than 6 hours of sleep ahead of me. I still have to unpack, meal-prep, and take a shower/groom. Oh joy.
