To tweet or not to tweet - that is the question

Twitter in my eyes has always been viewed as the way for ordinary people to connect with celebrities, sport stars etc. throughout the world of social media.

Throughout my time of using social media, I have always been a fan of Facebook and I tried using Twitter at a younger age, but i did not enjoy using it as I had limited understanding on how the social media site worked.

After searching through Twitter today “I have seen a different insight into the social media world” and my views of Twitter have changed. I always felt there was no need for me to create a Twitter account again.

With my own personal opinion changing, I can see how Twitter can be used for Educational purposes, to gain access to different resources, and the networking that can be established is beneficial.

As a teacher, it would be great to utilise Twitter to give feedback to other teachers, seek assistance and also withdraw information from others to build your own individual skills.

I can see myself remaining on Twitter and using it as a source for educational purposes in my own development, and also when I move onto teaching.
