Blogging is a social media platform used for individual people like myself for multiple purposes. By blogging people can share information, express their own personal reflections and their own views on the world etc.

Blogging can be used throughout the Education system by staff and students as a way of having input into different criteria’s. It can be beneficial for students who have difficulties in engaging with the standard writing criteria.

By using technology to blog, it can come across more engaging and encourage the students to read and write. This can provides students with higher literacy based skills that will benefit them throughout the future.

For myself I have found blogging interesting, it is a way of expressing or having input on whatever I feel like at the time. I see it as a terrific way to debrief on things that may be bothering myself, and instead of letting it boil over I can express it through a blog. It can be used for positive and negative input into different topics.

Throughout my time of studying and moving into a role of a teacher, I can see blogging being used throughout my future. I could use blogging to prompt myself and students with talking points as it can lead to a lot of discussions. Blogging can also encourage engagement between students and teachers, and be used to build rapport.
