The thing with the horizon is that it is impossible to reach, because as soon as you think you’ve reached it, the horizon is still there. It’s a constant that exists to make you constantly achieve new heights. Like a carrot on a stick.

The way I see it is, as soon as you achieve what is at the edge of the horizon, it may seem like there is no going forward from the perspective that got you there. However, from the new perspective you have reached, you are back to where you started, only now you have the capability of achieving something that is beyond ‘ideal’.
