Great post! This is something that often gets overlooked, and I’m sure is a reality check for many. I think the statement below needs to be treated with caution though. While I get that it links to the ‘less consumption, more creativity’ approach, as a learning technologies coach I know that first and foremost my job is to listen to people; their problems, their aspirations for their team members or students, their hopes for growth. Learning when NOT to talk is a skill I’m always looking to develop. It is also true that in doing less talking and more listening, we can learn so much more from others.
