The solution to the housing crisis is extremely simple. It’s easily solved, and the soundness of this solution is agreed upon by economists across the political spectrum.
Why not attempt to form a union, instead of a licensing body?
If you want people to be able to do the right thing at work and not get fired, and have more self-determination in the workplace, unions have a great track record of doing that.
Much as the fish does not notice the water it swims in, capitalist ideology is so deeply embedded in the way we consider issues that it’s hard to see outside it.
