I guess what I was trying to put across is that we need to use our knowledge of how members of the current administration has communicated in the past when we consider current and future communications. Trump et al. have created these expectations through their own behaviors. Applying rational expectations to our interpretations of the statements coming from this administration actually increases the probability that we will understand.

Stephen Colbert is paid to tell jokes on television, Kellyanne Conway and Sean Spicer are paid to go on television and say whatever Trump wants them to say, regardless of the veracity. The comparison seems quite apt, actually.

As a biologist, I can confirm that Donald Trump is an animal, as are all hominids.
