Our studio gets a lot of inquires from startups, asking the same question, “how much do you charge for a logo design?”. Now as a designer and strategic branding consultant, I know my price-range is not even considered a viable option for a lot of these startups. For them, building a brand has been reduced down to picking a logo, font, color palette, and building a website and Instagram presence.
So I decided to conduct an experiment, and compare three options that startup businesses usually take to launch what they would call, “their brand”:
