If it doesn’t, it keeps you back.

Your life is only ever in front of you, never behind you. The past can be an informative tool if we don’t get trapped in it.

If you want to uncover the root of the problem, go to the source, but don’t stay there very long. You may forget why you went there. It’s very easy to get sucked into the pain of the past and by doing so, lose your footing along the path of your future.

Don’t look back, you’re not going that way, but if you need to get closure, look back for only as long as you can get the valuable learning from the experience. Get the lesson and get out — a better future is always waiting for you to apply the wisdom of the past. Read more…
