Hi Mike, this is a good sampling of hints. I’ve recently resumed a regular meditation practice every morning, and I can confirm that it works. It sets up the rest of the day really well. The only thing I do differently from your list is the breakfast thing ; since I’ve been on the intermittent fasting bandwagon — i.e. eating only during one ‘eating window’ of about 4 hours each day —I’ve been not only missing breakfast, but waiting until late afternoon to eat — I’ve found that my mental energy and ability to stay sharp and foscused has increased markedly. It’s actually a real relief to not even think about food until ‘breakfast’, which can occur as late as 5 or 6 p.m….
