If this works as Peter describes, Bitcoin is basically worthless and has failed, because a minority (the miners) can dictate how Bitcoin evolves.

But I have hope: I don’t think it can and will work this way, because Bitcoin can only evolve, if a majority of all participants of the network (miners, nodes, wallets, exchanges and more) agree how to proceed.
