I think we are quick to blame the person taking the class. She sees a market opportunity, and is taking advantage of it. I think we need to look at why a student would rather have someone take their class instead of learn the information themselves.

I like to learn, and have been doing it since I was little. Though I didn’t like to learn at school, I still have that drive to learn everything that I can. What make a student say, I’m spending a large amount of money to learn, but I’m going to forfeit that and pay someone else another large sum of money to learn it.

I do like your ideas to help reduce the amount of cheating, but would you know what your student looked like or sounded like if you have never meet them?

I have to say I’m almost jealous of your Chinese women, she is getting paid to take classes she wants to.
