C-arm with Flat Panel Detector and an Image Intensifier
Nowadays medical imaging field, if hospitals, outpatient facilities, and private clinics want to remain competitive, digital imaging is an effective method. Digital images are easily transmitted to entire hospitals and other medical institutions. They can be stored in the patient’s digital health care record for later review without the patient requesting a copy of their image. The brightened photograph is then displayed on a video display.

The C-arm machine with flat panel detector is the most cost-effective option for upgrading the analog C-arm to a digital version. If facilities cannot afford to upgrade, they must convert analog images to digital images in order to compete in today’s healthcare market. The images must be transferred to other institutions to collaborate with other health care team members. Patients want to take their X-ray pictures after their surgery or other fluoroscopy procedures.
