My cover letter for the CEO gig over at Lands’ End.
Oliver Shiny

Are you the age to have lived through monogrammed polo shirts in the 1980s. My boss during college had either a different colored L.L. Bean or a Land’s End polo shirt for each day of the month.

I did decide to buy a winter coat from Land’s End. The parka promised to keep me warm to 40 below zero. I’ve worn it for six years now. It weighs about ten to fifteen pounds. But seriously, it is so damn heavy. I can say that it has consistently prevented me from being cold in Minnesota. I also appreciate that the company was American made at the time. I heard rumors they moved out of Dodgeville, WI. If they are an overseas company now, I’m not sorry their demographic is fading.

Sorry I was not funny in response to a clearly hilarious post.
