3-mile Maintenance Run (28:03)

Mile Splits: 9:27, 9:19, 9:14.

Sunday was a Rest Day after my Time Trial and my hamstrings were very sore. I needed the rest. Monday was a cross-train day (40-min on the elliptical followed by leg strength exercises — I’m not going to avoid these moving forward given my hip flexor issue).

I talked to my Coach before my run and we discusses the Time Trial. He was very encouraged and told me that the training really hadn’t even started — we haven’t run hard yet — and that once we increase the mileage a bit and incorporate harder workouts, my time will drop quickly. All I can do is the work and hope for the best.

The next Time Trial is on the calendar for June 1.
