Step 1 — Generate a QR Code
Create a QR code using one of the free websites.
We will use a QR Code design with a blank logo in the middle.
Generate and download your QR code with the following settings:
- Your Logo: Blank Logo
- Remove background behind Logo: On
- Logo size: 150%
- Your Colors: Transparent background Off
Step 2 — Set-up Automatic1111 and ControlNet
We will use QR Code Conditioned ControlNet Model for Stable Diffusion 1.5 and Brightness ControlNet to make it more readable.
Download QR Code and Brightness ControlNet models:
- ControlNet QR Code: control_v1p_sd15_qrcode.safetensors (place the .safetensors model and its .yaml config file to your “stable-diffusion-webui\extensions\sd-webui-controlnet\models” folder)
- ControlNet Brightness: control_v1p_sd15_brightness.safetensors (place the .safetensors model to your “stable-diffusion-webui\extensions\sd-webui-controlnet\models” folder)
Step 3 — Generate QR Code Arts
Let’s open Automatic1111 web UI and use “txt2img” mode.
Sample prompt
(best quality, masterpiece), cheese burger
Negative prompt: ugly, disfigured, low quality, blurry, nsfw
Steps: 20, Sampler: Euler a, CFG scale: 7, Seed: -1, Size: 768x768, Clip skip:2
We are going to use two ControlNet Units (0 and 1).
ControlNet Unit 0:
Upload your QR code to ControlNet Unit 0 tab with the following setting:
- Check: “Enable”
- Preprocessor : “none”
- Model: “control_v1p_sd15_brightness”
- Control Weight: 0.35 (Try adjusting Control Weight to your liking.)
- Starting Control Step: 0 (default)
- Ending Control Step: 1 (default)
- Control Mode: Balanced (default)
ControlNet Unit 1:
Upload your QR code to ControlNet Unit 1tab with the following setting:
- Check: “Enable”
- Preprocessor : “none” (You can use the invert pre-processor for a different results.)
- Model: “control_v1p_sd15_qrcode”
- Control Weight: 1.4 (Try adjusting Control Weight between 1 and 2.)
- Starting Control Step: 0 (default)
- Ending Control Step: 1 (default)
- Control Mode: Balanced (default)
Generate several batches and test it!
