A DAOs is a Network States?
Inspired by the work of Balaji S. (thank you 🙏 ), we would like to share our thoughts on what we generally build ourselves.

States in their current form are no longer needed, the borders are blurred and freedom of movement makes it possible to be almost anywhere in the world without special affiliation (citizenship) to earn money from anywhere in the world. Yes, some formalities such as a passport remain, but we do not think that for a long time, although we do not deny the function of the state related to ensuring our safety.
So, we are building a DAO of Locals around the world to provide services to Travelers (by this we mean in general all moving around the world and expatriates, emigrants and digital nomads). In general, there is a confusion of roles here, our Local can be a Traveler and vice versa, this is obvious and it plays into our hands (we already see the network effect of spreading information about us, although we have not even really started yet).
Each Local in our DAO is checked by other members of the DAO, after which they get access to earning options both in the essence of the project (providing services or renting their things to Travelers) and side ones, such as helping to attract an audience, onboarding newcomers to the DAO, developing our Website (user-generated content) and so on and so forth.
Yes, we already have Governance and anyone can buy Governance NFT just for $50 and vote or put their proposals to a vote. In general, a lot is already working. This is where the problem arose.
Studying the behavior of DAO members, we understand that after all, a sustainable community is a MARKETPLACE. No, not the one we have on the project for Travelers, but the Marketplace inside the DAO. It is the centuries-old traditions of trade that have made us who we are now. In general, any stable community in which horizontal connections are built independently and without any support from the leader or anyone else from the outside is a marketplace within it. Buying and selling within communities supports it on some subconscious or even biological level. I suspect that dopamine here plays an important role in the process of buying and selling, and therefore in the processes of community in which buying and selling takes place.
We are merchants in blood!
For now, enough materials on the experiments we conducted for almost a year of the existence of the Shegby startup may be enough for a book. The main thing is to have enough money in the budget of our small Network State.
