K-Drama / Korean drama is not only a drama that shows a romance, a sweet guy, a love story, or a lovey-dovey couple. For me, K-Drama also teaches us something that is unwritten messages. as Daily Dose of Sunshine drama. The drama is based on the Kakao webtoon of the same Korean title by Lee Ra-ha, a former nurse, highlighting the author’s real-life experiences. It was released on Netflix on November 3, 2023.

As someone with mental illnesses, this drama has been beneficial to me in every aspect, such as managing emotions, caring more for self-love, and not paying attention to everything that can hurt us.

After watching this drama, I really do feel the feeling of a patient in this drama. Freaked out about people’s words, people’s opinions, etc, and worried about those around us who will deny our illness. And thinking people who have a mental illness are criminal, dangerous, and insane.

This is the biggest mistake that people make. They treat a person who has a mental issue as dangerous, and they can make a criminal think. However, rejecting and opposing people with mental disorders worsens their condition and can even make them want to give up on life. We need to accept and recognize. Indeed, in this world, some things need to be accepted and acknowledged, even though they may be difficult. It’s essential always to understand and support those who need it.

People who have mental illness are also human. They need our support, they need our help. If we always do the same things, rejecting, denied and thinking people with mental disorders are disgust. They never going to open to us, They never gonna talk about their problems and how they feel.

For people with mental disorders, you guys don’t have to worry about people’s thoughts. Firstly, you have to accept your illness and ask for help from the people around you or the experts. They gonna help us. Never be afraid and ashamed of the disorder. It’s a normal thing and no one wanna have these disorders.

The best quotes ever that I got from the drama

“Do you think that abundance is enough to prevent a mental disorder? That the development of illness is caused by deprivation?” — Dr. Hwang Yeo Hwan

This is a quote that made me know why people, including me, got this illness. It’s not talking about abundance and deprivation; it is talking about how they are grateful for what they have. This is about prioritizing ourselves to find happiness, comfort, and freedom from anything that causes sadness and suffering.

“People tend to affect each other in various ways. Sometimes in sad ways, at times in painful ways, and sometimes in ways that hurt everyone around them. However, at times, the stone we cast to change ourselves can start a ripple that doesn’t stop at us but goes on to reach those around us as well.” — Nurse Jung Da Eun

The quote by Nurse Jung Da Eun suggests that people’s actions and decisions have a ripple effect on others, both positively and negatively. It acknowledges that our actions can impact not only ourselves but also those around us. It highlights the interconnectedness of human experiences and emphasizes the importance of self-awareness and responsibility for the consequences of our actions. It encourages us to be mindful of the influence we have on others and to strive for positive changes that can benefit not only ourselves but also the people in our lives.

As a K-Drama lovers, I really recommend this drama. And all readers should watch this drama also. It will be fun and informative about mental illness also!
