Hi Shane, I’m fascinated by your vision for a Socratic Web. I’ve been sniffing around the same problem myself. Making it easier to find critiques of a piece of content is an intriguing idea. I imagine if I read an article which I found enlightening, and the article had a dozen “rebuttals” linked to it, I’d feel the need to check out some of those rebuttals.
However, I’m curious to learn how you’re thinking about identifying the best critiques. Is that crowd-sourced using up and down votes by the community? That mechanism feels problematic to me, but I’m sure you’ve given the issue a lot of thought, so I’d love to hear your thinking on it!
