This actually has the potential to work on both the demand and the supply side. There are times when I’ve looked for more nuanced arguments, but couldn’t easily find any. However, there are also times when I’ve wanted to make a more nuanced argument, but didn’t bother to post it because, unless it happened to go ‘viral’, I knew no none would read it and it’d be a waste of time. If you could figure out discoverability, it’d be easier for me to find the arguments I’m looking for—and I’d be more likely to post more arguments.

As for developing “very good critical thinking skills.” I think there is a bigger job which needs to be addressed first: How do we make the public engage critical thinking at all?

This is something that I’m working on. It relates to what Henry wrote about being more comfortable with complexity and uncertainty.
