I like Matthew’s response and wanted to offer an additional thought. I might also encourage the group to think about what emotions might be driving the thoughts you mentioned:
- Too expensive
- Difficult to implement
- No time
Perhaps there is even more empathy to be gained by the team thinking through why someone has these concerns, particularly if they are perceptions vs. facts. Sometimes when we aren’t clear on how to categorize a concept, we find that’s a signal to dig deeper or validate what is coming up for us.
