one of the many benefits of state-sponsored corporate psychopathy and schizophrenia is that the human beings who make decisions inside of companies get to magically offload the responsibility to some vague, faceless entity like “The Bottom Line” or “Shareholder Value” or “Staying Competitive” — it’s just business, right? Everybody knows that! (except when corps turn around and demand the rights of individual personhood so they can have “religious beliefs” allowing them to discriminate against people they don’t like (mostly browns and boobs & gays))
