I was reading and I almost thought I was a polymath myself… until I saw the top 1-percent skill set notice :)

Someone who becomes competent in at least three diverse domains and integrates them into a top 1-percent skill set.

Hopefully the HR people will read your insights too, or else we will get stuck in hard requirements asking for deeper and deeper expertise. Although it’s not only about HR, I think also many of us seem wired or biased to value more specialists than deep generalists…
