That’s a pretty dark philosophy there, Bill… And it is just that, a philosophy.
Jack Preston King

Hi Jack,

Than you for the response.

“ pretty dark philosophy” is what you choose to characterize it as. The decomposition of the human body and its breakdown, at what is called death, is well documented. Survival of the fittest is a way of describing the mechanism of natural selection. Which is defined as reproductive success. This is common knowledge. I’m not sure it qualifies as a philosophical statement?

What you perceive as a “dark philosophy” has freed me from what most people are enslaved too. The fear of death. We are obsessed with finding out who we are and what can we become. It’s the wrong question and allows us to draw the wrong conclusions. What are we?

The most difficult thing you will ever attempt to achieve is a natural state. Your ability to think and your acute sense of self awareness interferes with this. You see yourself not only as apart from nature but more dangerously as above it. Treat this as a possibility.
