The Tallest Build

The worlds tallest building is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The name of the building is the Burj Khalifa, it’s hight is 2,722 feet and it has 163 floors. This ginormous building construction started on September 21st, 2004 and finished on January 4th, 2010. That is a crazy fast build because the building was built in a 6 year time period and only cost 1.5 billion, which is very cheap for a tall building like the Burj Khalifa. Now how did it cost so little to make? Well the Arabic people of Dubai had a lot of money, but they weren’t the nicest people, they hired there own people for 1$ to 2$ dollars an hour and built 1 floor every four days. They did provide housing for there “employees”, but they where tiny little “houses” and the people where treated like slaves. To top it off at least 3 people died a day working on that building, and they make a lot of buildings in Dubai so I think they should pay there employees more and treat them better. They have the money to be able to pay them more so they should just do that. But over all the building was a huge success and is a huge tourist attraction for people around the world!
