12 SECRET TIPS ON HOW TO LOOK FABULOUS AND DAZZLING IN BIKINI PICTURES
With social media today, us ladies are very cautious about having our picture being taken: we obviously don’t want an unflattering picture of us being tagged in Facebook, Instagram, or being tweeted or pinned or what else. And then, it’s even bigger of a deal when we are in a bikini!! It’s already something to walk on a beach in a swimsuit, it’s even scarier to have our picture taken and posted, because that picture will live forever!
What can we do, then? Here are some secret tricks from the pros (models!) on how to look fabulous and dazzling in bikini pictures, and it doesn’t involve Photoshop!
Victoria’s Secret model Jessica Hart and plus-size model Georgina Burke say that the best way to get a flattering bikini picture is:
1. To be on your toes! It elongates the legs and uses the leg muscles which always looks better.
2. Your body and hips should be slightly angled. Choose your most flattering side!
3. Your arms should be as natural as possible, on a hip maybe or you can run your hands through your hair or play with it. Just do things you would naturally do.
4. And put your chin up a little bit: you don’t want to have too much shadows under your eyes and it elongates the neck.
5. You need a swimsuit that fits perfectly. There is nothing worse then a top too small or bottoms that are cutting in and showing those extra-unwanted bulges!
6. Have or fake flawless skin, whether it’s using a spray tan or Sally Hansen’s Airbrush Legs: it’s just like wearing stockings, it helps smooth everything out and detracts away from any lumps or bumps.
7. Stick your buttocks out: it elongates the torso and slim the legs.
8. Put your shoulders back to accentuate the breasts (it’s a must!) and of course suck your belly in!
9. You can also cross one leg in front of the other: it helps to show a more hourglass frame and it makes your legs appear longer. Having your legs separated helps when you already have an hourglass figure, your thighs will appear slimmer.
10. Practice!! Get in front of the mirror and see what works best with your body! Practice nude, then throw on your swimsuit and you will find the angle that best suits your body.
11. Also, you can have a great crochet or sheer mini-dress cover-up, or an over-sized scarf to tie around your waist like a skirt.
12. I would add that a bikini picture where we seem to have tons of fun will always look better than one that we seem to be thinking about how to pose. So just have fun and take it easy!
