For Babies On Death Row

We need to protect you from your parents, who have elevated their happiness above your life and liberty..

Forgive them, but your parents know not what they do. If they truly did, they wouldn’t be so desperate to kill you.

Right now you need a voice. We need them to know that you matter more than they think. And we need the world to know you matter a whole awful lot.

You see, your parents think they have the choice to kill you. Why? Well, frankly they don’t want the inconvenience and hardship that you will bring them. So they become desperate to erase you from both body and mind. In fact, they had determined to put you on death row before you even happened!

And what’s worse is in order for their conscience to be cleared, they bought into this insane logic that you aren’t actually a person. Of course we know you are, but they think you are just a blob of cellular debris that can be sucked out and placed into the garbage heap.

They don’t know that even as early as 8 weeks conception, you are already doing the most profound things. Your organs are functioning, you are dreaming, you are responding to pain, and even your unique fingerprint is revealed.

And they don’t know even long before those 8 weeks, the message inside your DNA is being extracted and expressed. Who you will be, all that you’ll become, is all their from the very start. So much meaning is wrapped up in that tiny strand of DNA that God has weaved together.

Further, they don’t know that you are an image bearer of God. You have a soul formed in you right at conception, right at day 1. God delights in his creation, and He loves you, but they think they can play god and destroy you. It’s cosmic treason what they are doing.

It’s really sad, but we are all desperately wicked people, even you are if you have the chance to be born. It’s important to know God is a creator long before he was a redeemer, so you see how broken we are when we think we have the right — the choice — to destroy his creation.

The good news: He is not only a Creator who loves you desperately, He is a Redeemer that has fixed this profound problem. He has provided a way for you and your parents — for every created human being — to be identified as sinners saved by God’s grace. It’s all expressed on the Cross of Jesus Christ.

The Founders of our country would likely be weeping over the pro-choice logic, and our future children will likely see it all as barbaric.

Lastly, think about our Declaration of Independence. In it we we see our founders recognizing that we are a Created people with certain unalienable rights, among which are: “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” They say these rights are given to all human beings — even you in the womb — for which governments are created to protect.

Our government has failed to protect you. And that is why we need to speek up for you, constantly and feircely. We need to protect you from your parents, who have elevated their happiness above your life and liberty! We need all to see that you are incredibly valuable right from conception, right from day one!

You matter a whole awful lot, and I just want you to know that we — those especially who call themselves Christians — care a whole awful lot. With tears we will continue to expose the insanity of the pro-choice logic, and pray for God to intervene in a mighty way.
