One could just substitute the word coding for banking and this whole diatribe, rant against coding and coders could be directed to bankers. I am not sure what kind of a developer the author is but her admission that she’s been a coder after only 3 months of training says it all. I am withholding my ire and fire for now in hope that she will spend as much time learning what it means to be a true software engineer (not every coder is a software engineer) hint: she needs to talk to the engineers who built GraphQL or Algolia. The very products she gloating about and find out how it was for them to build a seamless product that even a neophyte can use no question asked which is the ultimate goal of any good engineer.
