Your Vote, Your Life. Your Decision. Make it count.

This week, British voters threw down the gauntlet, not just for the rest of Europe to pickup, but for the world at large to accept the challenge and muster the courage to demand changes from their elected officials pronto.

If the Brexit brouhaha reminded us of anything it is that a citizen’s vote is the most important thing in his/her quiver and the only thing money CAN’T buy unless the citizen him/herself puts it up for sale (shame on anyone who does) through some quid pro quo shenanigans.

As long as you remember that, you will always be the proverbial tail wagging the dog or, if you prefer, “the” David finally standing up to Goliath (and winning) .You will always wield more power over political neophytes, and lifers alike, than you ever knew you had.

The One citizen, One vote (NOT One unit of currency, One vote) mantra will always send tremors through any politician’s beating heart, help keep them in check and remind them of the civil servants they were elected to be in the first place.

The UK experiment was a solemn reminder of the inherent power bestowed upon the citizenry of a democracy, any democracy. At the very least, it was a teachable moment.

6/24/2016 was and will forever be, figuratively, and without a shred of doubt, Europe’s second coming. Major Changes, whether good or bad, were exacted without a single bullet leaving the barrel of a gun.
