A Quick Guide to Setup IMAP Settings For iCloud In Your Outlook

IMAP settings in any email account let you receive important emails from other email clients. When it comes to the IMAP settings for iCloud accounts, they are already preconfigured for various email accounts such as Outlook. However, you can also manually setup in your Outlook, if they are not there already. Here’s how.

IMAP Settings For iCloud In Your Outlook

• Get access to your Outlook Account via using a web browser and scroll to the File menu section
• Select the Info option and then hit the Add account option
• Mark the Manual setup or additional server types checkbox and select POP or IMAP
• Enter your name and your iCloud email address and then select the account type as IMAP
• Now, enter imap.mail.me.com for the incoming server field and switch to the Logon section
• Here, enter the iCloud username and its password and hit the More Settings option
• Scroll to the General section and enter your account name then enable the “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” option
• Navigate to the Advanced section enter the following details in relevant fields

1. 993 in the Incoming server (IMAP)
2. Choose SSL

Now, save the changes and get access to your iCloud account on another browser tab to check the iCloud IMAP settings.
