Exactly my sentiments. I will hold my nose and vote for her. I also happen to believe the choice is between a sane individual and an insane individual and in my world sanity wins.
If, she’s up by double digits in Colorado, like you, I will cast my vote for Jill Stein.
With the tepid support of folks like you and me, I still have the awful feeling that she will lose. Look, the DNC successfully gave her the nod, they put their fat thumb on the scale, they cheated (and cheated us) and gave it to her. The RNC tried to give it to someone (anyone) else and they failed. Haha, their people got their way and that’s why I think she may lose. Enthusiasm goes a very long way in this thing and he’s still got tons of it (hate and fear are great drivers) while she has none. Shame on the DNC for giving us the worst candidate to represent the Dems ever? I don’t know if she’s the worst “ever” but she’s in the running.
I don’t believe she will get Millenials — the DNC and she basically killed their dreams, treated them like trash and forgiveness for that will not come easy if it can come at all. They, of course, treated progressives like trash, too, but maybe with age comes the expectation that into every life some trash absolutely, positively will fall. It’s being disappointed, but not really surprised as opposed to being totally betrayed and lied to.
I can’t watch the news anymore. Just can’t do it. The media made Trump — when they should have ignored him, they made him. Of course, they have forgotten that. Clinton continues to shoot herself in each foot and cannot find it within herself to simply be truthful. She is incapable of simple, direct honesty.
There’s a yard sign that perfectly expresses my sentiments:
“Everybody Sucks. We’re Screwed 2016”
I just hope the sane person wins. Yup.
