How true this is! Everybody wants to know you once you have made it big, but nobody wants to be the first to buy. As a founding Board Member of One Revolution Foundation, I helped to create an amazing resilience education program called Nametags. For the first three years, it was like pulling teeth to get any schools to buy into it — but every school that did said it was one of the best assemblies that they have ever seen.
Now, I am working to get the word out about a model to teach people about the brain to help them make more resilient decisions. The model is easy and applicable to any challenge, from the playground to the boardroom, but getting those first 100 customers? That is one of the biggest challenges out there.
