I am 73 years old and survived 8 years in and out of mental hospitals 40 years ago. I moved from the US to Mexico in 2003, and published a memoir in 2013.

I’d say I am thriving.

Although I have done a lot already, I am concerned about legacy. What will the world know or think about me when I am gone? Or some individuals. What will they have gained from my presence?

I’ve heard that regrets at end of life mostly are about not having spent enough time with friends and relatives, and also about not having traveled.

For me, it’s all about legacy.
