Dealing internally with insults: A stoic solution

This is important information.

I learned it a bit differently.

First, I must know that I am an ok person. Some do affirmations to get to this point.

Second, I know that the person throwing the insult is not only judging, but also projecting. This is more about them than it is about me. I do not give away my power by giving in to the other’s projections.

Third, I can, in a logical tone of voice, say: “I hear you are angry. Can we talk about it?”
