I think that going forward, any of the real, real-world problems that need solving won’t be done by coding, they’ll be done by offline engineering.
And maybe we’re moving into a post-digital world, where the application of tech to real world problems, rather than to create the next social phenomenon, is beginning.
Beyond digital technology, I think there are industries where motivation is different. I’ve set up my own invention and disruption practice to focus on four areas that I think could make a difference to humanity, and the sustainability of our species.
Health, energy, environment and interstellar space travel.
