Actor Brian Anthony Wilson has come a long way from Philadelphia. From theater to film to primetime television, Wilson has strung together a career that actors could only dream of. In TITLE VII, the audience will watch in awe at how quickly his character evolves. Here’s another edition of Q&A with the cast of TITLE VII.

  1. Name, Hometown, and role in the film Title VII?

Brian Anthony Wilson, Philly, role of “Charles”.

2. What attracted you to the role of Charles?

Nicole’s enthusiasm and writing are what drew me to the role.

3. What was your knowledge of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prior to this film?

Unfortunately, very little.

4. Do you still feel that workplace discrimination is a major problem in America? Why/why not?

Very much so. Look at the inequality with ‘Non-Equal’ pay with men & women.

5. Besides acting, what are some of your favorite hobbies?

Attending art museums, theatre, films and reading comic books.

6. How was the arts scene in Philadelphia when you were growing up? How do you think it is now?

I wasn’t very aware of the arts scene, growing up. I took my first acting class when I was 23 and then began my ‘Artistic Journey’. The arts scene is alive and well in Philly. Lots of wonderfully diverse and intriguing theatre!

7. What is one quote that you live by?

“Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.”

8. You have worked with actors like Bradley Cooper (Limitless), Michael B. Jordan (Creed), and Idris Elba (The Wire), but was there any actor that you enjoyed working with the most/any role you enjoyed the most?

Its probably a tie between Bradley Cooper (Limitless, Silver Linings Playbook) & David Morse (Diary of a City Priest, Hack); both of whom I’ve had the honor of working with twice. Very different artists but both were amazing to work with, learned so much from them and they were both very gracious and down to earth.

My favorite role in theatre- King Hedley in August Wilson’s play, King Hedley II. My favorite role in TV- homicide detective Vernon Holley on HBO’s The Wire. Film- Warren Mercer in Crooked and Narrow.

Kelsey is a Black woman with no Black employees and no one can figure out why — until Darryl Montgomery, her 9:30am interview, enters the firm. On this day filled with an unbelievably awful morning that reminds Hillary of her “place” in a racially charged society, a pending account that could make or break the future of a company and a mystery man determined to turn Hillary’s world upside down, the events of the film TITLE VII illustrate why same-race discrimination can not only ruin a company, but possibly destroy lives.
