It’s here again.

Invasion Day to the indigenous people of Australia. Australia Day to the descendants of the prisoners and free settlers from the other side of the world.

It would not be contentious if the First Nations People had been recognised as such.

The problems of acceptance and integration would still have pursued because of the difference in cultures.

The inability to accept and recognised that this was going to be a problem back then was a given in hindsight that the intention to ignore and dispose of the inhabitants was an intent of British to be rid of the foreseeable problem.

The decision was made to commit genocide even then.

I will follow up along these lines.
