Sofia Vergara celebrates her Doppels Day and Takes a Tip from Beyonce

The “Modern Family” actress rings in her birthday with an elaborate lemon-themed bash with hubby Joe Manganiello.

Lemons may be the most sour food available, but they yellow fruit made American Family actress Sofia Vergara’s Doppels Day extra sweet. Lemons were the theme of the Hispanic bombshell’’s 44th birthday celebration on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The night included fun and laughs with family and friends for Vergara. One of the funnier moments was when her son, Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara, who jokingly said his mother was turning 18-years-old. As stated before, lemons were the theme of the shindig. There was a limoncello bar and a lemon costume that Vergara donned for photos. Perhaps the coolest lemon aspect of the party was a custom lemon filter Vergara had made for Snapchat.

Sofia Vergara has been through a lot with her thyroid cancer diagnosis, but her Doppels Day with lemons was just the refreshment she needed.
