One thousand five hundred and sixty five days. Those aren’t the lyrics of a song from a new Broadway show spin-off. It’s the time that has passed since I announced the launch of LAtelier Marketing on April 23, 2015.

It was my birthday and I had a vision: to disrupt the status quo of the marketing services industry. I had spent the last few years studying the landscape of marketing, realizing that its inner workings hadn’t really changed since the Mad Men era.

I wanted to make marketing more transparent, diverse, efficient and beneficial to people and companies that use it every day — which is pretty much all of us, if you think about it. Ultimately, I wanted marketing to make people happier, by providing fair pricing for fair value, and by making it more seamless to create marketing with an impact, even if you don’t have an in-house marketing team.

One thousand five hundred and sixty five days and over one hundred customers later, I can say that it is, in fact, possible to make marketing more transparent, diverse, efficient and useful. We’ve done it, Jacob, our team and myself, and it has been one hell of a ride, in the most fantastic way.

For the past 4+ years, LAtelier has helped some of the most inspiring businesses out there show the world the incredible and thoughtful work they do to make us better humans. They are companies of all sizes, from international tech leaders (hi Baidu) to early-stage startups full of potential (hi Hablamos Español). They’re not afraid to solve hard problems, from building infrastructure for the future of transportation (hi Evercharge), to ensuring every family gets a healthy start (hi Bloomlife). They think outside the box, from imagining the future of coffee (hi Cafe X), to giving us our privacy back (hi XcooBee). They help us turn our houses into homes, cherish our memories, read without limits, learn with AI, change the way we connect, be mindful of our future. One of them even helps bring the Marvel Universe to life by giving its stories their color. If THAT’s not inspiring, I don’t know what is. #WakandaForever

I’m so proud of the work we’ve done with all of you, and am grateful that so many of you trusted us to help present your vision to the world. It’s been four amazing years, and we’re just getting started. Because we’re cool, the hundred of us, but we could be even cooler. We could be thousands. Heck, we could be millions…

One thousand five hundred and sixty five days later, it’s time to write the next season of our love story with marketing. Earlier this year, we added the talented Josh to our team, and introduced Gravitr, a continuation of the work we’ve done at LAtelier. Gravitr automates the mundane tasks of marketing, making it more seamless and efficient to collaborate at scale. It brings diverse teams of visionaries, creatives and technicians together to create meaningful work that makes a difference.

Gravitr is to LAtelier Marketing what a 2019 Tesla is to a 1959 Cadillac. It brings scalability, sustainability and innovation to something that was already beautiful and pleasant to use. It will serve thousands of companies around the world, no matter their size, industry or the target they’re trying to reach. Gravitr also helps us rethink the future of work, by making it possible for people with different backgrounds and locations to work together, and build things that couldn’t have existed otherwise.

“It’s time now to sing out, Though the story never ends.”

By September 1st, 2019, all LAtelier clients will have transferred into the Gravitr universe. After that, we’ll be operating exclusively through Gravitr, providing our customers and specialists with a groundbreaking experience that will disrupt the inner workings of marketing at scale. If you want in, you can request to join our Beta and we’ll reach out as soon as we are ready for you.

If you are a talented provider of marketing content or distribution services, we want to hear from you, too. From video creators to marketing strategists, designers, developers, analysts, social media managers, photographers, branding experts and copywriters: we’ll soon open a streamlined process for you to apply and join the Gravitr community. In the meantime, you can email us with your resume and we’ll reach out if it’s a good fit.

We’re on a mission to disrupt the world of marketing, and I’ll have more updates soon. And I promise it won’t be another one thousand five hundred and sixty five days before you hear from me again.

Co-founder and CEO of Gravitr: — I can’t drink from a cup and walk at the same time.
