My Boot Camp Experience

The learning curve at the Boot camp is steep. There is a lot to learn and it is easy for one to lag behind. Therefore, to ensure that I get the most out of my Boot camp experience I ask myself the ‘why’ question every time I learn something new.

For example: I have learnt about Test Driven Development (TDD). So why TDD?

TDD can help a developer know what code they are supposed to write/ what the code they write should do. With TDD, more tests are run hence fewer bugs as compared to traditional test methods.

This learning approach will help me monitor my growth throughout the Boot camp.

In addition, I have met amazing and diverse people in my team. I am sincerely grateful for them. Good team mates help lighten the work load especially in high pressure work environments.
